Here are a pair of Civil War era boots that are the style worn by infantry, teamsters, and some cavalry but are commonly seen in images of civilians as well. The boots show wear on the soles with period repairs noted. These are the style that do not go all the way to the knee, but midway up the lower leg. They measure about 12 inches tall from the bottom of the sole to the tops of the boot.

The boot straps are present on both specimens. The only thing to make note of is that one of the boots are cut across the front. These could be reinforced in the front for display, however, they do look good and would fit nicely into an infantry display.
