Item #: FDR17-139

Here is a nice quarter plate tintype of a young soldier standing in full pose. The image has no creases or bends noted. There is also no emulsions noted either. The image comes in a full leatherette case. Behind the image was a piece of paper noted as, "Private Josiah Wohlford / Co. A / 26th Indiana Vol. Infantry."

I looked up his name and there is a Josiah Wohford in the 26th Indiana and a Josiah Wohlford in the 118th Indiana. Truthfully, I think its the same guy as he mustered out of the 118th in 64 and then re-enlisted in 64 into the 26th Indiana.
