19th Century Era Housewife

This is a must have for your haversack, a mid-late19th century housewife. It measures about 5.5-inches in length and appears to have kid-leather on the outside with the interior having polished cotton. Inside you can see the compartment for sewing needles, etc. The tie strings to secure it shut have been lost.
