M1816 Harpers Ferry musket dated 1836 in percussion configuration with a drum bolster conversion. Iron is evenly pitted throughout, heavier in certain areas like the butt plate. It has a dark plum brown patina throughout, overall much like you would expect if you had found it in Grandpa's attic.

On the lockplate you can see the eagle stamp / US and vertical behind the hammer "Harpers / Ferry / 1836". The action is soft and will go to half cock. On the top of the barrel, as you can see in the pictures, is stamped with a name of a company out of NY which appears to be "T Illingworth Maker NY US". You will also see the date on the tang of the barrel is also "1836".

The stock is in relatively good condition with no repairs or damage noted outside the normal dings and nicks. Its an untouched musket in many regards.
