1858 Pattern Infantry Hat Insignia

Really nice 1858 Pattern infantry hat insignia with a '31' in the center which stood for the 31st Regiment. The gold bullion is embroidered on black felt. It measures 1.5 x 2 inches and would have been the size for a forage cap.
